Zhang Haideng stated that the establishment of the Promotion Center will serve as an important carrier to accelerate the digital transformation of the industry, integrate resources from all parties, gather the strength of industry associations, leading enterprises, universities, research institutes, system solution suppliers and other units, and help the Chinese steel industry continue to promote digital transformation. He put forward three requirements for better playing the role of the promotion center. We need to improve our positioning and serve the overall situation. Each member unit of the Promotion Center should raise their political stance and deeply understand the importance and necessity of accelerating the digital transformation of the steel industry. Secondly, we need to strengthen cooperation and gather joint forces. Internally, the promotion center should improve its operational mechanism, fully leverage the enthusiasm of all member units, and form a collaborative and efficient work force with complementary advantages and deep cooperation; Externally, the promotion center should strengthen exchanges and cooperation with industries such as finance, automotive, and home appliances, learn from each other, strive for more support for the development of the center, and create a favorable development environment. We must put our efforts into practice and strive for practical results. The promotion center should combine the needs of enterprises, promote the dissemination and implementation of digital transformation maturity standards, expand the application of typical scenarios, build a bridge for “industry university research application” communication, and promote exchange and cooperation; We must strictly comply with national laws, regulations, and standards, strengthen data security management, and prevent the leakage of confidential and sensitive information in our work.
